Mr. "Never let a good crisis go to waste" has a crisis in Chicago.

Rahm Emanuel, Obama's ex-chief of staff, wants to be major of Chicago. How is that working out for yah?

Rahm Emanuel has to testify in his residency case challenging his eligibility to run for mayor of Chicago.

He has to prove he was a resident of Chicago one preceding the election.  Since he lived in DC,  for almost two years when he was Chief of Staff of BO - he has a problem.

How can you live in Washington, DC and be resident of Chicago?

And I could not be happier.  I hope everyday will be a nightmare for this little crumb.  I hope he never runs for office, and if he does, I hope he will lose.

Enjoy your little crisis.

Obama has been asleep- he needs to wake up

A lot of people feel BO needs to go towards the center a little, since the GOP took the House. This is what Bill Clinton did when the GOP gained the majority during the Clinton administration.

BO is no Bill Clinton.

Bill Clinton is a liberal, who likes money, like a capitalist.  Clinton likes OPM - other peoples money. Ask yourself, how did the Clinton's get their money?  They are worth 100 MIL? Investments?  Gambling?
Political favors?  Getting paid for speeches?  Was all that money earned legally?

BO is a progressive socialist.  BO has a JD, so he has some brains, but he does not use them.  Real socialism does not work, it won't work in America. Unions think they have won something - they have won nothing.

When BO gets back from India, he is going to get a rude awaking.  It will not be business as usual.

He will have to deal with a GOP majority in the House and John A. Boehner. BO won't have Nancy Pelosi  as speaker.  And some new Republican Senators.   Also there will be many more GOP state governors.

Some Republicans, have already said they want to repeal and replace Obamacare.

BO will have his hands full.  Now maybe, we will see just how smart he is.

I love America - I hate our Government

Its not so much the government.  Its the people running it.

Our form of government is great if:

The Constitution was followed.
There was less corruption. Less stealing.  Less deals.  Less Lobbyists.
Less back stabbing.
Less lies.
Bills and amendments had to be read, then voted on.
There was not such a terrible disconnect between the people and the government.
If the liberals tried being Americans. Instead of being socialists.
The Democrats need to stop blaming George Bush and the tea party for everything.
Stop thinking the government will pay for everything.  Your father didn't pay for everything.
Uncle Sam can't  pay for everything either.

Hillary Clinton needs a bailout

If you supported Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her 2008 presidential run, chances are you received an e-mail Tuesday morning from her husband asking for help to pay down the remaining campaign debt for her failed presidential bid.

Bill Clinton wants to help his wife Hillary, pay down her campaign debt for her failed presidential bid.

“How would you like the chance to come up to New York and spend the day with me?” For those who would like the One-Day-With-Bill prize, an online donation of as little as $5 will buy them the chance.
____________________________________________________________________

This is amazing.  The Clintons begging.  They are rich, and they beg.  How petty.  How small.  How low.

If Hillary Clinton is so worried about her debt, she should have not run for president. She could have kept her New York senate seat,  and would owe nothing.

This is totally outrageous.  The Clintons have a net worth of  about $35 million - and they beg.

I thought the Clintons had a little class, I was wrong, no class here.

Just a little greed, a little hypocrisy, a little narcissism.  Remember this, next time  you see them smile.

The boy wonder President wants us to thank him.

Here is what the boy wonder President Obama said at a  fund raiser in Florida on Friday.

"We cut taxes for 95 percent of working Americans, just like I promised we would on the campaign," Obama said.

So I've been a little amused over the last couple of days where people have been having these rallies, about taxes. You would think they would be saying, "Thank you!" That's what you'd think!
 ________________________________________________________________________________

Thank you Mr. President, thank you for everything.

Thanks for single-handedly ruining America.

Ronald Reagan was an actor who became President.  Obama is President who has become an actor.

Obama is on the campaign trail again, this time pushing his heath care bill in Iowa.  I watched about 2 minutes - Started his yelling and carrying on.  I just could not watch any longer and turned to Bloomberg.

Its very difficult to watch this President, especially when he acts like a cheerleader, rather than a leader.  Its sickening.

Can you imagine Margaret  Thatcher, or Tony Blair, or Gordon Brown acting like this.

Question, if this bill is good for our country, if its so wonderful. Why is the president doing a sell job for this bill?

Nancy Pelosi - abuse of power.

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, has too much power. All the wimps in the House let her get what ever she wants.

She only cares about herself and her constitutes in California.  She is like Obama.   He claims to care for all people.

But like Obama, Pelosi only care about those who will help her.

“The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse.”  Edmund Burke.

One day soon, she will screw things up.  People like her are not good for this country.

"We will get health care passed,

“whatever it takes”

We should get you out of office - "whatever it take".

Bipartisan meeting to discuss health-care legislation

You are talking  -  But I can't hear you. ( I am not listening)
 ____________________________________________________________

President Barack Obama hosts a bipartisan meeting to discuss health-care legislation at Blair House, across the street from the White House, on Thursday.

__________________________________________________________

Its no wonder nothing gets done in Washington.  I watched the first three hours of the heath care Summit meeting.

It was a joke. Although for the most part it was respectful, and many points were made, the meeting did not go well. Not much was agreed upon.  Why?

Because the right and the left have fundamental differences concerning heath care reform.  The left wants the government calling most of the shots.  The right wants a limited plan involving government -  the less government involvement - the better.  The right wants a health care bill, but not this bill.

The left wants to control everything. How much coverage everyone will get.  The right wants to control costs.

Much of the bill and deals were crafted behind closed door.  Now the door is open and we are no further ahead.

What a hopeless mess.

Obama: Can he get anything done?

Here is a quote about a year ago:  True or false?

"President Obama has accomplished more in 30 days than any president in modern history," a senior White House official said this morning in a background briefing for TV reporters.

He has done somethings.  He has also made many mistakes, and has created quite a mess.
Many failures.

Should we alphabetize the mess ?  Or list the mess in economic terms?

Lets just name a few.  Here is a dirty dozen.

1.  Failed to close down the Guantanamo prison.
2.  Few new jobs, jobs creation.
3.  $3 trillion budget.
4.  Fail to get Jon Corzine elected in NJ,  failed to get Coakley elected to senate seat held by Ted Kennedy.
5.  Failed to get Health Care reform bill passed.
6.  Made over 500 campaign promises, not many completed.
7.  Attitude on national security and terrorism.. Is America safe?
8.  Failure to keep his campaign pledge to have health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN. Much of   meetings were held behind closed doors.
9. Two wars.
10. FOREIGN POLICY - another failure.  Has done little or nothing with North Korea, Iran, Russia, China. Israeli and Palestinians relations.
11. Wants to reform banks, wants to limit bonuses, then flip flops.
12. "no political appointees in an Obama-Biden administration will be permitted to work on regulations or contracts directly and substantially related to their prior employer for two years". In practice, Mr Obama has granted several waivers to this rule, allowing lobbyists to serve in the top reaches of his administration.

Washington, DC - A corrupt state of affairs

Washington has really become a corrupt state.  Health care bribes.  People who cheat on their taxes.  People who cheat on their spouses. Lies about what is going on. Lets make a deal.  Lobby bobby. Getting what you want with other peoples money.

Harry Reid says this is how you make legislation. He is what he said.

"One way we were able to [secure 60 votes]... was that we had to deal with the art of compromise," Reid said, noting that every lawmakers from every state have different needs they seek to satisfy. "That's what legislation is all about; it's the art of compromise...This legislation is no different than the defense bill we just spent $600 billion dollars on. It's no different than any other piece of legislation...I don't know if there's a senator who doesn't have something in this bill that's important to them. And if they don't have something in it that's important to them, then it's doesn't speak well for them."

Harry calls it compromise -  ok.  Its compromise that's corrupt.
______________________________________________________

How about social security.

U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) has said.

“It’s time for politicians to stop stealing from our seniors to secretly finance trillions in wasteful Washington spending,” said Senator DeMint. “Congress has been raiding the entire Social Security surplus every year to pay for bridges to nowhere, teapot museums, and bloated government agencies. Politicians in Congress are using Enron-styled accounting, but if this were done in the private sector they’d be sent to jail. It is time to stop spending the Social Security surplus on other government programs and begin saving it for this generation and the next.”

Every year, Congress raids the entire Social Security surplus to pay for wasteful earmarks and other government programs. In the last 20 years, Congress has already raided two trillion dollars from Social Security, including interest. Without Senator DeMint’s “Stop the Raid” amendment, the Social Security Administration estimates that Congress will raid an additional $452 billion from Social Security between 2009 and 2013, which including interest would exceed $1 trillion.

“There is nothing but stacks of IOU’s in the Social Security trust fund because Congress has spent all of the money and will continue to spend it if we don’t take immediate action. Because of this raid by politicians, Social Security will not be able to pay promised benefits to seniors in less than 10 years.”

Movie Name: The Verdict (1982)
Quote:
[Frank is giving his summation to the jury]
Frank Galvin: You know, so much of the time were just lost. We say,
"Please, God, tell us what is right; tell us what is true." And
there is no justice: the rich win, the poor are powerless. We
become tired of hearing people lie. And after a time, we become
dead... a little dead. We think of ourselves as victims... and we
become victims. We become... we become weak. We doubt ourselves, we
doubt our beliefs. We doubt our institutions. And we doubt the law.
But today you are the law. You ARE the law. Not some book... not
the lawyers... not the, a marble statue... or the trappings of the
court. See those are just symbols of our desire to be just. They
are... they are, in fact, a prayer: a fervent and a frightened
prayer. In my religion, they say, "Act as if ye had faith... and
faith will be given to you." IF... if we are to have faith in
justice, we need only to believe in ourselves. And ACT with
justice. See, I believe there is justice in our hearts.
[he sits down]

We become tired of hearing people lie. And after a time, we become
dead... a little dead. We think of ourselves as victims... and we
become victims. We become... we become weak. We doubt ourselves, we
doubt our beliefs. We doubt our institutions. And we doubt the law.

And there is no justice: the rich win, the poor are powerless.
And we doubt the law.

Its not suppose to be this way.

Its like a box of chocolates

With Obama - you never know what you will get, its like a box chocolates.

But you can be sure it will be screwed up.

Few days ago he was in a freeze mode. He had to freeze spending.  We cannot live beyond our means.

Today he submits a budget proposal.  Another mess -  might be worst than the health care bill.

Promises, promises, but he breaks the promises, all the time.
 __________________________________________________________

From the Texas GOP Vote - he is what Senator John Cornyn had to say.

"As member of the Senate Budget Committee, I released the following statement today regarding the President’s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2011:Simply put, the President has sent Congress a budget proposal that contains more spending, more borrowing and more taxes. This, after promising the American people that he would restore fiscal discipline to Washington by going through the budget with a scalpel to cut wasteful spending. But, once again, his actions don’t match up with his rhetoric.
The country is drowning in red ink with this year’s deficit expected to reach a record $1.6 trillion, and the Senate just last week voted to increase the federal credit limit to more than $14 trillion. But instead of reigning in this out-of-control spending, the President has proposed a budget that would increase deficit spending by 35 percent over the next five years while ignoring entitlement programs that continue on an unsustainable fiscal path.
Perhaps most devastating in the President’s budget, however, is not the unacceptable increase in the national deficit but the effect it has on the "deficit of trust" between him and the American people."

Obama: We do not give up. We do not quit.

At his state of the union address:  Obama said.

We do not give up -- we do not quit
These are words of the President.  Is it true.......................or false?

We do not give up -- we do not quit   Maybe that's because they do not do anything.  Anything of substance.

One thing Obama needs to see, is that America is sick of the words.  We have had enough of his words. We are looking for results. That four letter word.......JOBS!

Obama going to help the middle class

Well,  he is spending again.

Obama says the middle class has been under assault. Now in an array of tax credits, for college loans, child credits and other.  There is no use outlining all his nonsense,  You decide for yourself.

These initiatives will not help much, will cost a lot.  But that is what Obama does best.  Spends a lot.  Little or nothing in return.  That is a great system he has devised.

Almost everyday Obama finds new and creative ways to spend taxpayers money.

UAW and Unions need to stop the crying and grow up

 ____________________________________________________________________

Its not my life time goal to bash unions.  You are hanging on by a thread and you know it. You use every scheme possible, every bit of political shenanigans possible, to get what you want - and to hell with everyone else.

Every benefit you get has a cost. That cost is passed on to the consumer. You get the benefit. The rest of us gets screwed. Because we have to pay for that cost.

Yes I will agree that unions had a place in manufacturing many years ago. I was a union member too, steel worker.  Long time ago.

Yes I will admit unions have helped many people, helped the conditions in the work place.

But in many cases, they hurt many industries, and helped closed many plants.  Pittsburgh once had a lot of steel plants.

Bethlehem Steel, PA was a major steel producer.  Now the old steel mill is a new casino.

Several years ago, when the UAW were negotiating, and finally settled, here is some of  what Ford "gave the membership."
Members with enough time working for Ford were given $2000 a years for college expenses for their kids - very noble.  They were given  money to purchase computers and internet service. Nice benefit. There were other goodies above and beyond what all the UAW settled for.

Ford Motor Company was so proud that they were able to give their employees such benefits.  But this is untrue, it was not Ford or the union that gave these benefits - it was the guy who bought the cars who provided these benefits. No car sales - no benefits.  Remember 2007 and 2008 when the auto companies were broke, bankrupt, and busted.

GM build car plants in China.  More cars  are made there than here.  Does that tell you anything?  Unions that push too hard, will push the  the company to close the doors in America and go overseas.

Certain workers can benefit from labor unions. But everyone cannot be in a union. Its impossible.  So the situation is one sided.  The current members are the only ones that benefit. Its not balanced.

Car prices rise almost every year. Some of that cost can be associated with management greed and union demands.  Instead of the unions and management working together to keep cost low, they continue a vicious cycle of greed and outlandish union demands.

This cycle never gets broken. So it is destine to fail. And fail it did.  The government and taxpayer had to bail out GM and Chrysler. The great companies the the UAW works for.

Lately, unions have cried, and won unfair concessions against the health care provisions involving " Cadillac health care plans."  The tax that was to be placed on these plans will not apply to certain labor unions. This is unfair to everyone else.

I think it is ironic that these plans are referred to as "Cadillac Plans".  Is it because Cadillac cars were so very expensive, and special, that only the rich could but them?  They were not affordable for everyone. Just like these health care plans they reference, they are only for the rich, the elite, the privileged,  the Congress. And now Unions.

This is an outrage.

I am as mad as hell - because every benefit a union member gets, I pay for some of that benefit if I buy your product.  So do not thank Ford, GM or Chrysler for what you have, thank the guy who bought the car you make.

The Obama Government: You will pay more and get less

This government does not know who to hit on next.  Almost everything they do will cost you more in the end.

Almost everyday someone, or some group will get more than the rest.  This not suppose to happen in our country with our Constitution and laws.  But Obama and his cronies do not pay attention to the Constitution.  And to think Obama use to to teach the Constitution.  I find that hard to believe.  This is the kind of crap that goes on in
Venezuela.

They have created the most corrupt legislation - Health care reform, in our history.  Harry Reid has bribed people for their votes. And they are proud of that.  I am not proud at what they are trying to do.  It is a sham and will only completely help a few. And the masses will have to pay for those few- pay for about 30 million people and the unions.

How good is the health care bill?  When you have to bribe, steal from one group so another group will benefit. This is an outrage.  This is not America.

Now Obama wants to tax banks.  This is being  proposed in order to recoup some of  the money the government gave out in the TARP program.  It only applies to certain banks, with $50 billion in assets.

He wants to punish banks and reward unions.  A tax will be imposed for those with "Cadillac health plans". But will not have to be paid by unions until 2018. Isn't that nice.

But the banks will just raise fees and rates and the customer (taxpayer) will as usual get stuck with the bill.

The government thinks we are stupid.  The government knows whats best for us.I know what is best for the government - get out of banking.

Obama and his lousy white house needs to focus on jobs and job creation, but because of their drunken spending, they think their only choice is to raise taxes, either directly of through the back door. Liberals will never learn.

They spend, spend. and spend more.  Then they have to try to get the money back- so they tax the rich and the middle class.

I do see how anyone can be satisfied with Obama, his White House, the Senate or the House.  Everything they touch, they screw up.  They have all, in one form or another, made things worst.

Obama says he has inherited a mess, maybe he has.  But he and his administration have added to that mess - and have made it worst.

They all make the laws.  But only if they are in office. This is what we must remember and change.

We have the votes they need.

What were you thinking of, Harry?   "You deeply regret................. "    Way to go Harry.

I deeply regret you are the Senate Majority Leader.

How do people like you get elected and become Senate Majority Leader?

Chris Dodd announces he will not run for re-election in Connecticut

Senate Holds Procedural Vote On Health Care Reform Bill

Sen Dodd is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs

Chris Dodd has announced today from his home in East Haddam, Connecticut, that he will retire.

I was hoping he would run for office and get beat - but this is better. The good news is that he is a Democrat, and now he will be gone.  I hope he will be replaced by a conservative.

I am so happy he will not serve in the Senate any longer. Its not my birthday but, I say happy birthday to me.

Danish newspaper says Obama is better than Jesus

A Danish newspaper has reported that Obama is better than Jesus.

http://politiken.dk/newsinenglish/article868683.ece

_________________________________________________________________________

Obama is like the picture above - just an illusion.
He portrays the image of a great, honest man. He is just an inexperience political actor.

BO is not like Jesus.  He is more like his ex mentor Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

The Danes say Obama is better than Jesus.

I say Obama is better than  Lucifer or Satan.

Any similarity is purely coincidental .
